Burton Brothers is a Family owned Vauxhall Main dealer established over 47 years ago based on Bury road Ramsey.The business comprises new and used car sales, vehicle servicing, MOT station a tyre and exhaust centre and a Shell petrol station.The petrol station includes a Londis store.
The business was started by Brothers John and Tony Burton in 1964.The original business was a mechanical workshop and a carpentry workshop.After afew years they took over the Shell fuel station and later with the help of Roger Greenwood in 1974 they started selling cars.Opel franchise was taken on and then shortly later Vauxhall, this is still held today.Network Q is the answer for all quaility used cars.In 1984 Andy Howard joined the business as a Junior Sales Executive and is today the General Manager.
The Aftersales part of the business is run by Pete Eichner,Parts Manager (joined in 1976 ) with Robert Proud,Service Manager (joined in 1981 ).They have a team of fully trained Vauxhall Technicians working in a workshop with state of the art equipment.
The business is now in its 48th year and goes from strength to strength.Many of the local Family garage businesses have been taken over by the multi nationals or have fallen by the wayside but Burtons keeps on going.Ramsey and the out lying area has been good to Burton Brothers, long may we serve the local community.
